On the Nahr Al-Bared battle front, intense clashes have been ongoing since 5 in the morning. The Lebanese army's helicopters raided the camp, especially the shelters where the remaining members of Fatah Al-islam are holed up. Yesterday afternoon, the Lebanese army advanced into the last zone of the militants, and the 'Arafat' shelter was now the last target of the army. On another note, the member of the Palestinian Ulamas sheikh Mohamad Hajj said that negotiations over the evacuation of the wounded militants from the camp was now completed. He stressed that the final stages were being conducted. |
