Mussa: There Is Still Hope

For his part Arab League Chief Amr Mussa left Beirut today. While ending his two-day stay, Mussa said there is still hope that the situation might improve before Friday. He had earlier met separately with Prime Minister Fouad Siniora, House Speaker Nabih Berri, resigned Foreign Minsiter Fouazi Salloukh, MP Walid Jumblatt and Lebanese Forces Haed, Samir Geagea. He also held talks with Hezbollah's Secretary General Hassan Nesrallah. |
