Koushner Extends Stay In Beirut

Note that a diplomatic source in Beirut announced today that French Foreign Minister Bernard Koushner extended his visit to Lebanon Until this afternoon.
According to informed sources Kouchner prolonged his stay after receiving guarantees from both the House Speaker and the head of the Future Bloc of a formula to end the presidential deadlock. During a three way meeting with Nabih Berri and Saad Hariri, Kochner was said to have received assurance that MPs will agree
to an electoral process today or at the latest on Monday. |
